Our Mares
Our mares have several acres to roam and graze on. They know our whistle and come running to meet us. And they know our truck entering the front gate, so they often arrive there to see what goodies we've brought home for them. We will consider a reasonable offer if someone is interested in purchasing any of our horses.

HDP Solana

HDP Solana (*BSP Grano de Oro x HDP Nobleza) is an AV Sol de Paijan grand-daughter and is out of National Champion Stallion BSP Grano de Oro, and HDP Nobleza.

This black mare is very smooth with excellent termino, lift and reach. She is fully trained, responds softly to the bit and/or leg cues, and is wonderful on the ground or atop her. Solana may be seen again in a few shows, but is now taking us out on the trails. She readily goes through water, up/down/through creekbeds, stands for mount/dismount, and is an overall excellent ride.

Show Record:

2003 AAOBPPH National Breeding Mares 4-6 bit - Reserve

2002 SW Championship Show - Fillies in Bozal - 5th

RyR Duquesa

RyR Duquesa has Cayalti and southern bloodlines, out of National Champion Stallion Principe de la Solana and La Chola. This bay beauty has had one filly.

This sweet mare has excellent gait, termino, and lift, is smooth, has a short back and great conformation, with a wavy mane and tail. Duquesa is trained in the bit. She's taking us out on the trails, handles gate opening/closing like a pro,and has no problem going through water, creekbeds, bridges, or anything we've asked of her.

Duquesa, ridden by Javier

Duquesa (Spanish for Duchess) has a good mindset, stands still to mount/dismount, comes to you in the pasture, halters easily, tacking is easy, perfect manners for the farrier and bathing, her good traits are endless.

CJC Primero Milagro (deceased - July 16, 2006)

CJC Primero Milagro has the AV Sol de Paijan ancestry and is sired by Fenix, with Laurel and Limeñito bloodlines.

This seal brown mare is very strong and correct, and extremely smooth. Milagro is trained in the bit.

She had her only foal on May 7, 2005 out of *ACR Anibal, great-grandson of AV Sol de Paijan. That combination has proven to be a wonderful match and the colt has all the qualities one hopes for in a Peruvian Paso horse.

Milagro was one of the 27 tragic deaths on the July 16 weekend at Carousel Acres.
